The method of delivery (at your option) will be by email, through our website or by post. In most cases we expect to be able to provide the advice within 72 hours of receiving full instructions. If we cannot provide the advice within that time we will tell you why and let you know when we will be able to provide the advice. The service will not exceed 30 days unless otherwise notified to you in writing. Making of electronic contracts By selecting and paying for an option from the Advice Required page of this website, you make an offer to purchase legal advice from us as described in Advice Required or are as otherwise notified to you in writing. Our acceptance of this offer by email will conclude an electronic contract for the particular option to take legal advice from us as described in Advice Required page of this website or are as otherwise notified to you in writing. We will retain details of the transaction. If you have any problems when making the payment or input the wrong information please contact us immediately by telephone or email. The language available to conclude the contract is English. Right to cancel The Distance Selling Regulations give consumers the right to cancel an order within seven working days of agreeing to go ahead. If you do decide to cancel, you should put this in writing, either by letter or you can fax or email us. A telephone call is not sufficient. However, in most cases legal advice will be required without delay and we assume that you consent to our commencing work immediately following your agreeing to go ahead. In that case you will not be entitled to cancel once we have started to provide the service. If you do not want us to start work on your advice immediately following your agreeing to go ahead please let us know. In the event that you are entitled to cancel and notify us in accordance with these requirements we will refund your payment. Protection for Credit cards If someone uses your credit card without your knowledge for any kind of distance purchase, you can cancel the transaction and the card issuer will refund the money. You should notify your card issuer as soon as possible if your card is stolen or you suspect dishonest use. |
